    hi geert & crew,
i have to say that knowing that microsoft is part of this blog really took me by surprise.
i never really had anything against microsoft but to be honest, i never really had anything good to say about this company or this brand.
of course, i would bitch about how some of the software didn’t take into account things that seemed obvious to me, but that was as far as it went.
this blog improved the way i view this brand tremendously and i have already forwarded this link to friends and co-workers.
    three small tips:
    1) add subtitles for non-english people
    2) use this platform to organize and recruit fans of microsoft
    3) listen to what’s being said here, act and report….
    good luck to you all
    enjoey
ps: respect to microsoft for allowing/condoning/supporting this project!

So they use Google Maps API at Microsoft?
Great video BTW, but I find that particularly funny.

Exactly why Newtork marketing has taken off so strong, there is a change happening and Advertisers are not changing with their consumers. Microsoft knows this.

Why are you using google maps when you work for microsoft?

  • 8. Geert  |  June 13, 2007 at 7:27 am

Hi You Muppet, good question! I didn’t find a gadget that does the same in WordPress for Live Maps.

Hello :) Then I guess the question is also… why are you using WordPress, when Windows Live Spaces is the product made by your company?

interesting…blog powered by wordpress, maps powered by google… i think its a cool thing that microsoft is allowing you to do this blog (guessing its in your employment agreement) and the fact that i’m here makes me aware that they are trying…a good thing. its hard to be so huge, because everyone wants to knock your block off (and like it or not MS is huge… ;) but bigger is not always better.

keep up the good work, they need more of you.

Looks like you need to get some Spam control into this Blog. There are some excellent tools for WordPress, try Askimen (spelling?) and SpamKarma2. Both are free and block most of that tiresome commentspam.

I see from your map that not many creatures in Antarctica have computers. I suppose the distribution tends to follow affluence.
